Create your day in advance

You can use the law of attraction to create your whole life in advance, right down to the next thing you are doing today.Prentice Mulford, a teacher whose writings share so many insights into the law of attraction and how to use it, demonstrates how important it is to think your day in advance.

"When you say to yourself, ‘I am going to have a pleasant visit or pleasant journey,’ you are literally sending elements and forces ahead of your body that willl arrange things to make your visit or journey pleasant. When before the visit or journey or the shopping trip you are in bad humor, or fearful or apprehensive of something unpleasant, you are sending unseen agencies ahead of you which will make  some kind of unpleasantness. Our thoughts or in other words, our state of mind, is ever at work ‘fixing up’ things good or bad in advance." Prentice Mulford

There is a price for not asking

There is a price for not asking

I read this in a book The Alladin factor by Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen

A number of years back the University of Chicago received a million dollar grant from Mrs. Fields of the Marshall Fields Department Store fame and fortune. When the administration at Northwestern University read the headline in the newspaper, the people of Northwestern were shocked, How could this be?

Mrs. Fields lived in Evanston, Illinois.Northwestern was in Evanston, Illinois. She had been a supporter in the past. Why hadn’t she donated the money to Northwestern? Why had she given the money to the University of Chicago instead?

When the University officials called Mrs. Fields to discover why she had given the money to the University of Chicago rather than to them. She replied, “The people of the University of Chicago asked.”You didn’t.”

The answer is yes……. But you have to ask! This would apply even to asking God

Decide to do at least one good action a day

Decide to do at least one good action a day

Decide to do at least one good action a day

If not several, or innumerable ones

Talk to God every morning and ask Him,

“What good can I do today?”

He will answer you and guide you, for He is in you

And you will have given Him life by asking Him

He cannot manifest Himself without being asked.

God speaks to you through your soul which is the

true guide of your life.

Ask God, talk to God, dialogue with God and you

will be the source of many miracles

You will produce them all around you.

Do at least one good action a day until the very

end of your life.

Just think what a huge amount of good that

Will represent!

And if all 4-7 billion people on Earth do one good

action a day WHAT A PLANET IT WILL BE!

Coasta Rica, Former Under Secretary General of United Nations

Are you assailed by imaginary fears?

We are always troubled by fear of unknown happening and unable to cut ourselves out of it. It is not always fear about us or about failure of our actions or death. Our fear concerns those whom we hold dear and love. We are concerned about our parents, spouse, children, close friends, relatives and their health, well-being and happiness. We imagine all worst fears we see around elsewhere happening to our near and dear. It is not a rational anxiety backed by realistic risks. A rational fear is a sign of maturity and its awareness tends to keep the risks away. It is an essential part of living sounding us warning at the appropriate times. We do not leave open lamps when we leave the house, we ensure that doors are properly secured, we turn off the taps, and we walk on the platforms and adhere to signals when crossing the road. We are guided in these by fear of accidents or loss.

But unfounded irrational fears are more afflictions of the mind. They spoil the present. We pass thro much pain by the imaginary fears that have never come true and may not also. There can be unexpected hardships in life. Except for the normal precautions that we take, we must get along with life and be prepared to face the troubles as and when they come. No man’s life is free from problems.”Into each life some rain must fall”—but why open your umbrella while the sun is shining?” Faith in God can help overcome this fear of the unexpected.

Hard work-the secret of success

To be successful in any field one quality is paramount. Success is no accident but the outcome of hard work. There is no ready open sesame for becoming successful. Whatever you wish to achieve, you can if followed by diligent work. The wayside of business is replete with brilliant persons who began with enthusiasm but lacked the hard work and stamina of the successful plodders with patience and never say die spirit. They put in more than hundred percent and went the extra mile. How many of us are there who are willing to do a little bit more than what we get paid for, not many. Most would do only that much they can get by with.

A small boy was learning to skate in ice. He fell down repeatedly and a person who was watching advised the boy to stop for a while and watch others. With tears in his eyes he told the person “Sir, I didn’t get these skates to give up with, I got them to learn how with.” That is the spirit of successful men who will get up one time more than they fall till they make it through.

“The average person puts only 25% of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50% of their capacity, and stands on its head to those few and far between souls who devote 100%.”-Andrew Carnegie

It is the general tendency to choose easiest job and avoid the hard ones. The easy job road is a busy boulevard and crowded while the road to hard work is deserted. There is no competition there or in the extra mile. One can be lucky once or twice without hard work but not always. When one disciplines oneself to work hard, the access to fruitful results is easy that is generally denied to the lazy. This is the mantra of highly successful people that is universal in reach and applicable to any situation for achieving long term results. What a metamorphosis in our life would come about if only we do not shy away from hard work and instead accept it  as a challenge and an ally.

Eternal hope

Life without hope would be a painful nightmare. We all live on hopes and dreams that the future would bring for us the things that we cherish most .Every child has bundle of hopes on parents, God and Santa Claus. They believe in what they are told and build hopes. Every young student in schools/colleges is an aspirant for big degrees and good positions. They work for these with lot of hopes. Married people hope for children, businessman for profits, the old and infirm for good health. Hope is eternal in the hearts of men.Without hope any life would be meaningless. Hope is the greatest motivator to endeavour towards success. Hope brings about a faith in the creator and God’s hand in all things. It gives a healing touch to the troubled minds and hearts. It therefore behoves on all of us not to crush the legitimate hopes of people around us by insensitive comments and instead  help them in whatever manner we can to realize their hopes. It is in the nature of things if one hope does not materialize another one takes over its place. Nothing in this world is hopeless.
